		Katie Jo Smith ~ Artist Statement I design websites for the same reasons I take pictures. I love interpreting and articulating people by building representations of their ideas, personalities, and concepts through imagery. My goal is to be able to take a picture or build a web page that really captures the essence of what the client is trying to convey. I am inspired by personalities. I am a nature lover and a computer geek. I love the field work that comes with photography. But I can not live without the time spent by myself sitting in front of a computer screen. I thrive on being “in the zone” which consists of listening to music while executing ideas for hours on end. The decision to take my photography into the world of web design is definitely the right place to channel my creativity. My challenge is to “think outside of the box” and take the web to a more interesting and creative place with my knowledge of photography and web design. Recent Works: “Motivation is temporary.
